Administration Department

Responsibilities

The administration department has many statutory duties. The clerk's duties include attending meetings of council and various committees.The administration department is responsible for all records of the municipality and deals with requests for information under the Municipal Freedom of Information Act.The clerk prepares the agenda for all council meetings, officially records the minutes of the meetings, processes resolutions and business from the meetings as well as being responsible for issuing various licenses and permits.

The clerk is responsible for the local election and local planning matters.
