What Offices Will be Open for Nominations?

Mayor (1 to be elected at large)
Deputy Mayor (1 to be elected at large)
Councillor - Ward 1 (2 to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 2 (2 to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 3 (2 to be elected)

Why Should I Vote?

  • By voting, you are given a say in how your money is spent and the quality of education that your family receives.
  • When you don't vote, you let others speak for you.
  • Voting in the municipal election allows you to take part in your community and gives you the best opportunity to make a difference.  Elected municipal representatives make decisions on how property taxes are spent and what services to provide.  School board trustees affect what kind of environment and education students receive.
