Interim CAO and Interim Clerk for Municipality of Southwest Middlesex

The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex is pleased to announce the joint appointment of Kristen McGill and Mike Henry to fill the role of Interim CAO for Southwest Middlesex and Kendra Kettler as Interim Clerk.

Mr. Henry, Ms. McGill, and Ms. Kettler will replace Chief Administrative Officer-Clerk Jill Bellchamber-Glazier, who has accepted the CAO position in the Municipality of Kincardine. The appointments will become effective September 13, 2022. Ms. McGill, Mr. Henry, and Ms. Kettler are experienced municipal employees, Mr. Henry is the current Chief Administrative Officer and will be assisting on a part-time interim basis while continuing in his permanent role as CAO in Thames Centre. Ms. McGill and Ms. Kettler are employees of Southwest Middlesex who will continue to support Council and the staff team.

“Recruitment for a permanent CAO is expected to take place over the next several months”, says Mayor Mayhew, adding “Council has the confidence in the leadership and teamwork of Mike, Kristen, and Kendra to help implement Council’s directions and initiatives.
