Assist with planting, pruning, and maintaining a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs.
Help with soil preparation, fertilization, and watering of plants.
Perform routine garden and landscape maintenance, including weeding, mulching, and pest management.
Assist in the design and installation of seasonal plant displays or garden projects.
Monitor plant health and provide care based on specific needs (e.g., watering schedules, pest control).
Assist in the general upkeep of garden tools, equipment, and supplies.
Assist with special horticultural projects as assigned by supervisors.
Collaborate with other team members and contribute ideas for garden improvement and design.
Passion for plants, gardening, and landscape management.
Basic knowledge of horticulture practices or willingness to learn.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good physical stamina, as the position involves manual labor and extended periods of standing or bending.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in gardening or landscaping (preferred but not required).
Standard First aid and CPR (C).
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Must be 16 years of age.
Valid Ontario G driver’s license.
