We are thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of the Southwest Middlesex Recreation Centre Arena, and we want YOU to be a part of this exciting celebration!

📍 Location: Southwest Middlesex Recreation Centre, 138 Mill Street, Glencoe
Join us for a day of fun and festivities as we showcase the incredible talent, teams, and community groups that make our local area truly special. This event is a celebration of community spirit, and we can't wait to share it with you!
Event Highlights:
10:00am: Doors Open.
10:00-12:00pm: Come and see the Canadian Hockey Leagues Memorial Cup in the Arena Auditorium.
10:00-2:00pm: Gain insight and visit with your favorite local teams and community groups at our Open House in the main lobby of the Southwest Middlesex Recreation Centre. Current attendees include: Southwest Minor Hockey Association, Glencoe Skating Club, Glencoe Minor Soccer, Glencoe & District Curling Club, Glencoe Agricultural Society, New Horizons Club, Southwest Middlesex Recreation Dept. & More!
10:00-5:00pm: Grab a delicious meal or tasty treat from Glencoe & District Lions Club in the Arena Auditorium.
10:20am: Official welcome from Mayor Allan Mayhew in the Arena.
10:30-11:50am: Glencoe Skating Club Showcase.
11:00-12:30pm: Children's activities and face painting in the New Horizons Room.
12:00-1:20pm: FREE public skate sponsored by the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.
12:30-2:00: Presentation followed by a meet and greet with Canadian Olympic Figure Skating Champion, Meagan Duhamel.
1:30-2:50pm: Bluewater Hawks U18AA vs. B.A.D. Blazers.
3:00-3:50pm: Southwest Bullets U7 vs. West Lorne
4:00-4:50pm: Southwest Bullets U9 vs. West Lorne
5:00-6:00pm: Southwest Bullets U11 vs. Wallaceburg
